Job Description

We are looking for Experienced Cellar Supervisors who are driven and motivated to join our Bars team. The music industry can be very fun at times, but it is also very fast-paced and sometimes a stressful environment.
Principal accountabilities
Cellar Supervisors usually work between 12pm to 12am during our event shifts. Keeping our bars stocked and helping to take deliveries, and ensure the bars are ready for operation. They are sometimes required to work shifts outside of event days for line cleans and stock takings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
  • Make sure the bars are stocked up and ready for an event
  • To ensure correct stock rotation for all products in the cellar and bar areas.
  • Assist in keeping the bar and front-of-house clean and tidy during an event
  • Cleaning of back of house areas and equipment
  • Helping to take in deliveries and physically to ensure that all deliveries are checked for quantity and quality. Reporting any discrepancies to the Bars Manager.
  • To input and update stock related information into the Epos system as required. Under the direction of the Bars Manager/Bar co-ordinator, to maintain the stock control measures.
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  • To ensure all working areas of the loading bay, cellar & dry stores and bin stores are maintained to a clean and hygienic standard at all times.
  • To assist with line cleaning of pipes and dispense systems for all beverages thereby ensuring the highest quality of product.
  • To ensure refuse from all bar areas are in the correct bins ensuring the correct disposal of chemical and bar related waste. To work to minimise waste and increase levels of recycling.
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office

Job Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year within working with cellars and beer equipment, knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills, to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Flexible approach and willing to respond to changing workload and event requirements.
  • Willing to work regular evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.
  • Friendly and professional communicator.
  • Able to integrate high quality customer service with day to day work.
  • Physical fitness; encompassing the ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, lean,
  • reach, carry heavy or awkward items in order to undertake safe manual handling to set
  • up equipment and deal with deliveries.
  • Practical, hands on approach, a team player.
  • Proven organisational skills, able to work unsupervised and use initiative.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Cellar Management qualification
  • Personal Licence
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Manual Handling training
  • First Aid Certificate
