Job Description

Our client are a well established service organisation offering a range of IT, communications and data support services to a wide range of clients across Europe.
Due to business growth and restructuring they have an opportunity for an IT Buyer to undertake a newly created role managing IT Hardware, Software and consumables. The IT Buyer will undertake the responsibility of ensuring the availability of on site and client site stock through effective requisitioning and purchasing processes ensuring best cost and value at all times.
Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to determine and agree purchasing requirements
  • Implement structured purchasing process for IT Hardware/Software and consumables
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Manage stock availability
  • Liaise with Logistics and Internal teams to achieve best results for customers
We are seeking:
An experienced IT Buyer with excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to manage a "hands on" workload and thrive in a busy environment. Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and be detail conscious.
