Henton & Chattell Ltd, one of the UK and Ireland's leading distributors, is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth and manage dealer relationships across the North of England and Scotland.

The Role:

As North of England and Scotland Account manager, you'll take ownership of our trade accounts and lead the development of our dealer network. This field-based role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and a strong understanding of the sales cycle within trade environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, support, and grow relationships with existing dealers and trade customers

Identify and secure new account opportunities across North of England and Scotland

Represent and promote leading garden machinery and equipment brands

Provide product training, demonstrations, and aftersales support

Report on market trends and competitor activity

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure outstanding service delivery

What We're Looking For:

Proven account management or trade sales experience within the industry

Knowledge of garden machinery is essential

Self-motivated, well-organised, and confident working independently

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Willingness to travel

Full clean driving licence
