We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles.
Duties
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to manage financial transactions.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or queries related to accounts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as required.
Experience
Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role is essential.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
