An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and innovative Art Teacher to join a vibrant Visual Arts department in a well-regarded Good school in Essex from an immediate start. This is a fantastic position for someone who is deeply committed to developing student creativity, technical skill, and artistic expression across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons covering a wide range of artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, and conceptual work. You will guide students in developing portfolios, exploring personal themes, and building confidence in visual communication. The department encourages experimentation and celebrates individuality, giving you the freedom to shape projects that inspire curiosity and enthusiasm.
You will also contribute to:
- School exhibitions and displays
- GCSE coursework support and intervention sessions
- Extra-curricular clubs and creative workshops
- Community arts events and collaborations

Paid on MPS/UPS depending on experience.
