We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will ensure that each customer leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them with their orders. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the kiosk environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: 13.19-15.00 per hour
