Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and food items, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food items are prepared according to food safety standards and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Assist with stock management, including inventory checks and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A willingness to assist colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic. An enthusiasm for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
