The Railbridge Bistro is currently recruiting for baristas to join our team.
Based under the beautiful forth Railbridge, we serve fantastic locally sourced Scottish meals, home baked food, local beers with a added bonus of beautiful views looking over all three bridges. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that each customer enjoys their experience, making them want to return.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared safely and in accordance with food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Uphold health and safety regulations within the cafe environment. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the highest standards are maintained. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours efficiently. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics. Barista experience will be Highly beneficial, we are looking out for the right attitude and willing to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
