Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in construction and maintenance, with experience in various trades including, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, plastering and basic electrical work. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the successful assembly and installation of components across multiple projects. The Fitter will be responsible for interpreting schematics and working with a variety of tools to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install components according to specifications and schematics Perform tiling, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Execute carpentry, plastering, tiling, and construction painting duties Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion Troubleshoot issues as they arise during the fitting process

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or related fields Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, tiling, electrical systems, and heating systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team A proactive approach to safety and adherence to health regulations

Pay: 230.00-250.00 per day
