Flexible Brand & Retail Assistant

Contract: Flexible hours covering retail, events & warehouse operations

Location: Chipping Sodbury (Bristol HQ), in-store @ Cabot Circus, nationwide events

We're looking for a versatile, people-first team members to join Goose & Gander in a flexible role covering retail shifts, events, and warehouse support as needed. No two days will look the same -- one week you might be on the shop floor styling customers, the next on tour running a pop-up, and another helping the warehouse team keep things running smoothly.

What you'll do

In-store (Retail Ambassador)

Be the face of Goose & Gander: start conversations, share our story, and build genuine connections. Deliver authentic service that feels natural and community-driven, never pushy. Drive sign-ups for newsletters/loyalty and encourage social follows and UGC (with permission). Offer styling tips, product advice, and support store targets through simple recommendations. Assist with visual merchandising, replenishment, till work, and stockroom organisation.

Events & University Pop-ups (Brand Ambassador)

Represent G&G at student activations, festivals, and pop-ups nationwide. Set up, style, and run events with energy, making them welcoming and on-brand. Drive engagement: sign-ups, social follows, and conversations. Share knowledge of our collections and help customers/students find pieces they'll love. Support the team with smooth pack-downs, stock handling, and housekeeping.

Warehouse Support

Assist with deliveries, picking & packing, and stock takes. Help maintain organisation, efficiency, and accuracy in the warehouse. Ensure a clean, safe, and productive environment.

Requirements

Experience in retail, events, or promo (preferred). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Willingness to travel to events nationwide (occasional overnight stays). Driving licence (21+) is a plus but not essential.
