The Online Beauty Courses is a growing digital education provider offering accredited beauty courses to students across the UK, Ireland, the US, and internationally. We deliver flexible, professional training that helps learners thrive in the beauty industry.
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and organised Brand and Marketing Manager to lead campaigns, manage partnerships, oversee content and SEO, and drive student engagement from our Tunbridge Wells office.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Content Management
Plan and schedule monthly marketing campaigns, adapting to seasonal launches (e.g. Halloween, Christmas, Black Friday).
Create engaging and high-quality content for newsletters, social media, and promotions using tools such as Mailchimp.
Write, edit, and manage email marketing campaigns across multiple regions (UK, US, IE).
Develop and manage automated email workflows for course launches and promotions.
Manage the content calendar for blogs, tutorials, and videos to strengthen SEO and brand authority.
Social Media & Paid Advertising
Develop and execute social media and paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube) to drive enrolments and brand awareness.
Monitor and optimise campaign performance, reporting on ROI and engagement metrics.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce high-performing ad creatives and social content.
Partnerships, Affiliations & Influencer Marketing
Build and maintain relationships with partner companies, affiliates, influencers, and media outlets (e.g. podcasts, magazines, radio).
Negotiate collaborations, manage contracts/NDAs, and coordinate cross-promotions to increase brand exposure.
Plan influencer and UGC campaigns tailored to the beauty education niche.
Course & Content Production Support
Liaise with video editors, designers, and freelancers to ensure timely delivery of course materials.
Oversee quality control for course videos, step-by-step guides, and supporting documents.
Coordinate AI-generated voiceovers and ensure brand consistency across all course materials.
Work closely with the production team to finalise edits, add learning content, and prepare courses for launch.
Brand Strategy & Development
Maintain and evolve the brand identity, tone, and visual standards across all touchpoints.
Conduct regular brand audits and competitor benchmarking to ensure market relevance.
Ensure consistent and professional brand representation across digital platforms, courses, and communications.
Market, Trend & Competitor Research
Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends and new opportunities in beauty education.
Analyse competitor activity to inform course development and marketing strategy.
SEO, Website & Conversion Optimisation
Manage SEO efforts to improve organic search visibility and website traffic.
Research and implement relevant keywords, optimise on-page content, and monitor site performance.
Collaborate with web developers to enhance user experience and conversion rates (CRO).
Analytics & Reporting
Produce monthly marketing performance reports covering KPIs such as website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
Use insights from Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and CRM data to inform strategy and optimise future campaigns.
Team Leadership & Apprenticeship Support
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to junior team members and apprentices.
Oversee the work of a marketing apprentice, ensuring tasks are aligned with learning objectives and business priorities.
Foster a positive, collaborative environment that encourages growth, creativity, and professional development.
Student Engagement, Customer Service & GDPR Compliance
Provide professional, friendly, and timely customer service to students via phone, email, and social channels.
Handle course enquiries, resolve issues, and escalate matters where necessary.
Ensure GDPR compliance across mailing lists, campaigns, and communications.
Manage and segment mailing lists to improve engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Community & Ambassador Development
Build and manage an online student community to enhance engagement and referrals.
Oversee the creation of student testimonials, case studies, and brand ambassador initiatives.
Compliance & Accreditation Marketing
Promote the company's accreditation credentials and ensure all marketing materials meet advertising standards and compliance requirements across regions.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally within online education, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics/Search Console, and keyword research tools.
Experience managing paid social and digital advertising campaigns.
Proficiency in Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms) and social media scheduling tools.
Excellent copywriting, editing, and creative content production skills.
Experience running campaigns across multiple regions (UK, US, IE) desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Customer service experience with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GDPR and compliance requirements for marketing.
A collaborative, data-driven, and creative approach with the ability to adapt strategies based on results.
(Desirable) Familiarity with CRM or e-learning platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Thinkific, LearnWorlds).
(Desirable) Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite).

Salary: 26,500 per annum, depending on experience.
