Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food and beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation and service areas. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking their orders accurately and ensuring satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help keep the cafe area clean, organised, and well-stocked with supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive working environment and assist where needed.

Skills

Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and managing stock levels. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Experience or interest in food preparation techniques is advantageous. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 11.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
