Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer enquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces. Support catering operations by preparing food items for events and ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in food preparation and restaurant operations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
