We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant/barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food preparation. Duties
Barista (making hot drinks to a high standard)
Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including small dining spaces and food preparation areas.
Support the team during busy periods by helping with serving food and beverages, as well as cleaning , serving on the till etc
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
Create content for our social media
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or cafe settings is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Skills in food preparation, barista, or catering are highly regarded.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members alike.
A proactive attitude towards helping others, showcasing teamwork and collaboration within the cafe environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
