We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our team at Marathon Warehouse Distribution Ltd -- part of the UK's leading independent automotive parts distribution network, supplying premium brands to thousands of trade customers nationwide.

Working from our Castleford depot, you'll be responsible for delivering car parts and related products to customers across the local area, ensuring each delivery is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.

This is a hands-on role involving daily interaction with trade customers, loading and unloading stock, and maintaining a professional image on the road and at every delivery point.

Key Duties

Safely and efficiently operate a long wheel base van to deliver automotive parts to customers in the Castleford region. Load and unload goods manually, including heavy items up to 25 kg. Plan and follow the most efficient local routes to ensure timely deliveries. Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times. Accurately complete delivery notes, receipts, and any required documentation. Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance needs promptly. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Health & Safety standards, and company procedures. Support warehouse operations when required, including assisting with stock or returns.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 2 years of driving experience (commercial or long wheel base van preferred). Must be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement). Physically fit and able to perform manual handling safely. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organisation and time management abilities. Familiarity with Castleford and surrounding local routes desirable. Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, or warehouse work advantageous.

Requirements

Full, valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points). Must pass standard employment background checks. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
