Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating expertise in culinary techniques and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Train new staff on food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with an emphasis on creativity in food presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
