Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Assist in the creation of special event menus and catering options as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen setting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight guests.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
