Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Support the kitchen team in catering events, helping to create memorable dining experiences for guests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving food preparation or cooking. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential to ensure a safe working environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
