Your role will involve supervising kitchen staff, managing food inventory, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of ingredients. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and presentation. A passion for creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional cuisine.
