The Role

As a

Commercial Contracts Legal Director

, you'll play a key role advising major players in the energy finance and corporate sectors. You'll draft, negotiate, and manage high-value commercial agreements and support clients through the full lifecycle of renewable, net-zero, and low-carbon energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate energy-related contracts and project agreements. Provide expert legal advice on energy law, regulation, and compliance. Advise on project documents linked to renewable and low-carbon generation and storage. Represent clients in negotiations with counterparties. Support clients with risk management and mitigation strategies. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic legal solutions.

About You

You'll be a commercially minded solicitor with a strong track record in complex transactional and contract work, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors. This role would suit either a Senior Associate ready to take the next step into a Legal Director position, or an established Legal Director seeking a new challenge within a top-tier international firm.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor (7+ PQE) with significant commercial contracts experience. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proven experience advising clients on complex commercial or transactional matters.
