Commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit two Commercial Real Estate lawyers - one of 1 to 4 years' PQE and the other of 5 or more years' PQE. The team covers all aspects of property-related legal services and acts for a wide range of clients including many household names/ global brands in the retail and hospitality sector, property investors and funders and large-scale residential developers. They cover a broad spectrum of Commercial Property-related services including: commercial property transactions; advising on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties; advising on the real estate aspects of portfolio management; insolvency; and, landlord and tenant matters. Recent work includes: o Advising a national gym chain on its ongoing acquisition of out-of-town retail sites o Advising a high-end fast growing health focused grab and go food business on its continued expansion including transport hubs o Advising a Dutch investment fund on the acquisition of a shopping centre in a major UK city o Refinancing a portfolio of high-end student accommodation. Types of matters you can expect to be involved with include: o Commercial acquisitions and disposals of property asset o Buying and selling vacant possession property o Reviewing and commenting on Heads of Terms o Reviewing and commenting on contracts for sale and purchase o New leases and renewal lease o Dealing with post-completion matters.
You will also participate in business development activity, including attendance at appropriate events and production of content for publication. You will also undertake a range of continuing professional development activities.
