Support Workers
to join our dedicated team in a
shared Supported Living House
with
three adult service users
.
About the Role:
You will be supporting individuals with varying needs to live safely and comfortably in their home and community. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for person-centred care and a commitment to promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication management
- ensuring service users take prescribed medications safely and on time.
Food preparation
- supporting individuals with meal planning and cooking.
Personal care
- assisting with dressing, hygiene, and toileting where necessary.
General supervision
- ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents throughout the day.
Community activities
- taking service users out for leisure and social activities.
Household tasks
- supporting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
You will work on a
rolling rota
, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, alongside a team led by an experienced
Care Coordinator
who oversees the running of the home.
About You:
Previous experience in care is desirable, but
full training will be provided
.
A positive, compassionate attitude and strong communication skills.
Comfortable with personal care and medication support.
Reliable and flexible with working hours.
A valid UK driving licence.
