Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen environment. You will be responsible for meal preparation, adhering to food safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Culinary qualifications or certifications would be an advantage but are not mandatory. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.33-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
