Phoenix Pet Cremations is expanding its team and is seeking

four self-employed, dedicated, reliable, and compassionate drivers

to join us. This role operates on a

self-employed basis

with a

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

in place to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

In this role, you will be at the heart of delivering our services with the highest level of care, professionalism, and sensitivity, ensuring that our clients feel supported during a difficult time.

Position Details:

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Sunday

Early Shift: 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Late Shift: 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM

You will work on a structured

4 days on, 4 days off rota

, alternating between early and late shifts in a routine format.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport pets safely for cremation services to various locations within London and up to a 90-mile radius.

Use our bespoke system to manage client wishes, view diaries, and navigate routes efficiently.

Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and empathy, ensuring clients feel supported throughout the process.

Read and interpret social cues, body language, and emotional needs to provide a compassionate and tailored service.

Build trust and rapport with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

Complete necessary paperwork for each collection and delivery accurately and on time.

Adhere to route schedules and follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines.

Provide coverage for other shifts during holidays and busy periods when required.

What We're Looking For:

Full UK driving license.

Excellent social skills and the ability to "read the room," adapting communication style to meet the needs of different clients.

Compassion, empathy, and sensitivity to handle delicate situations professionally.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Confidence in using bespoke systems or software (training provided).

Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Experience in a similar driving or customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential.
