Your Role as a Day Shift Support Worker



As a

Children's Residential Support Worker

, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily lives and wellbeing of young people aged 10-17 living in our

Ofsted registered home

.
Your commitment, patience and empathy will help children develop the confidence, resilience and life skills they need to move forward positively.

Key responsibilities include:



Supporting children with daily routines, personal care and life skills development. Delivering

individualised care plans

designed around each child's needs and goals. Building trusting, supportive relationships that help children feel safe, heard and valued. Promoting independence, positive behaviour and emotional growth. Working closely with families, colleagues and external professionals to maintain consistent care. Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems for reports and communication. Driving children to school, appointments or activities (if required). Participating in ongoing training and reflective supervision to enhance your skills.

What We're Looking For



Previous residential childcare experience

- essential. A

genuine passion

for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. Understanding of

structured care plans

and trauma-informed support. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Confidence using IT systems for documentation and reporting. A valid UK

driving licence

(preferred but not essential). A

caring, patient and resilient

approach to challenging situations.
