Responsibilities

Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering any queries they may have. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure availability of products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli section. Assist in training new staff members in food preparation techniques and customer service standards. Handle cash transactions accurately as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for food and helping others enjoy their dining experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.03 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
