Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our weekend deli team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, an understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Every Sunday. 7am-2.30pm. Over 18 years of age please.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Handle food preparation tasks such as slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches, and preparing salads. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure the deli is well-stocked with fresh products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while managing time effectively. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
