About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. You'll be responsible for delivering custom-cut materials across the UK while providing excellent customer service and ensuring the vehicle is well maintained.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm but flexible with early starts and later finishes as required.
This role typically involves
up to two overnight trips per week.
Occasional weekend work might be required.
What You'll Do
Drive Safely and Efficiently
: Complete deliveries using a company vehicle.
Plan & Communicate
: Contact customers ahead of arrival to confirm delivery times and access requirements.
Deliver with Care
: Safely handle and unload bespoke materials like wood panels and splashbacks, ensuring high presentation standards.
Daily Vehicle Checks
: Complete a
daily van checklist via the delivery app
to confirm roadworthiness before each shift.
Weekly Vehicle Inspections
: Submit a
full weekly van checklist at the end of the week
.
Report Promptly
:
Flag any vehicle issues immediately
to the relevant manager to avoid delays or safety concerns.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any incidents or issues.
Vehicle Maintenance
: Keep the van clean, organised, and in good working condition.
Team Support
: Assist with warehouse loading or dispatch operations when not on delivery routes. - may be required to carry out any other duties within the business when not on deliveries.

Requirements
Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays
Familiarity with mobile apps for delivery and checklists
Capable of manual handling
Previous delivery experience is essential
