We currently offer a vacant position for Saturdays, working hours 9am to 6pm with immediate starting date.

Duties



Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current oral health status to ensure safe and effective treatment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical history in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system like SOE. Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment for all procedures. Monitor and record vital signs during appointments to assess patient health status before treatments. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow efficiency and enhance patient experience in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications



Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current credentials to practice legally. Proven experience in dental office settings Proficiency in dental software system such as SOE for scheduling, charting, and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical coding practices related to dental care. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups, including pediatrics. Ability to perform without chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Attention to detail in documentation review, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards and regulatory requirements.
