Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse/Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with practice policies. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to ensure optimal patient flow within the practice. Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall patient experience and clinic efficiency.

Skills

Dental nurse with experience in dental nursing or a related field preferred but not essential. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
