We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Ofsted-registered holiday camp in Paddington, with shadowing happening during the February half term camp (16th to 20th February 2026) and with role properly starting in the Easter holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children, while managing staff and coordinating activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with management experience and a passion for early childhood education to lead a vibrant team in delivering exceptional childcare services.
Duties
Manage the day-to-day running of the camp, including staff supervision and scheduling
Oversee programme planning and organise age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children attending the camp, adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to foster a positive environment
Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff members
Maintain accurate records related to attendance, incidents, and programme activities
Coordinate logistics such as resource procurement
Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and organisational policies
Experience
Proven management experience within a childcare or educational setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Experience working with children, particularly in nursery or early childhood education environments
Knowledge of childcare standards, health & safety regulations, and child protection policies
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Previous experience with childcare management software or administrative systems is advantageous
