An opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised and experienced middle level manager with extensive care experience to join April on a full time permanent basis (40 hours per week). This role would suit someone looking for career development potential.
Role will include on call which is 1 week in 3.

Main Responsibilities include
To be accountable to the Registered Manager for the smooth running of day-to-day service delivery. You will have a proven record in the following:
Staff recruitment and HR
Obtain and manage compliance documents ensuring staff files are kept up to date.
Conduct allocated client quarterly reviews, manage care plans.
Ensure enquiries are recorded promptly and accurately with sufficient details in line with April's policies and procedures.
Ensure any changes to Client or Care Assistant needs and availability, is communicated to all relevant parties quickly and effectively. Ensure all changes are recorded in the appropriate places. Conduct care worker spot checks and observational practice.
Participate in on call 1 in 3 week basis included in salary this will include weekends and some bank holidays.
Monitor and manage the rota ensuring staff attend on time and resolve any issues that may arise
Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care.
Manage and maintain client files
Experience in Careplanner (Nourish) or similar desirable.
Skills and Abilities
Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
Ability to support & nurture your staff through supervisions, spot checks & check in calls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and flexible, with a robust attitude to Team Work.
Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge
