Orthodox Jewish nursery in Hackney

seeking an experienced

Deputy Nursery Manager

to support the day-to-day running of our setting during term time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional looking for a leadership role with a healthy work-life balance.

Key Duties

Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality EYFS practice Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and Ofsted compliance Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (or train towards this) Build positive relationships with parents Take charge in the Manager's absence

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification or above

(essential) Experience as a Deputy, Room Leader, or similar senior role Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge Confident team leader, organised and reliable Respect for an

Orthodox Jewish nursery environment

Knowledge of Jewish festivals, customs, and dietary requirements is desirable.
