We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and well-organised to meet health and safety standards.
Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
Respond promptly to customer requests and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in the preparation of rooms or areas for events or guests as needed.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
A background in cooking is an advantage but not mandatory; however, an understanding of cleanliness in food preparation areas is beneficial.
Must be physically fit and able to lift moderate weights as needed.
