Job Overview
We are a busy car dealership looking for a
Driver and Garage Helper
to join our team. This dual-role position involves transporting vehicles and customers, as well as assisting mechanics and technicians in the service area.This is a great opportunity for someone who is responsible, hands-on, and passionate about cars.
Duties
Pick up and deliver vehicles for service appointments. Transport vehicles between dealership locations, auctions, or vendors. Occasionally drive customers home or to nearby locations. Ensure vehicles are handled with care and driven safely. Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean (basic washing if needed).
Garage Assistance:
Assist technicians with moving and organizing cars. Perform basic tasks such as checking tire pressure, topping up fluids, etc. Help maintain a clean and organized work area. Retrieve tools, parts, or equipment as directed by mechanics. Report any vehicle issues or damages immediately.
Skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable driving various types of vehicles (sedans, SUVs, trucks). Basic automotive knowledge is a plus. Physically fit -- able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 24,420.00-25,000.00 per year
