This is an amazing chance to join our small village nursery and preschool, on a full time basis (30-40 hours each week). Our small, family feel team is located in Saxilby and opens 5 days a week (Monday-Thursday, 7.30-5.30pm and Friday 7.30-4.45pm).
Due to increasing numbers of children, we are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our team to provide high quality care and learning opportunities to children aged between 6 months -3 years old.
A full job description can be requested, but simply put this role consists of just about everything; from helping children to zip up their coats and reading stories to pretending to be a knight in a castle and slaying Dragons.
The successful candidate will have a creative can do attitude, hold a full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification and would ideally have 2 years experience in an Early Years setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, fostering their development through engaging activities. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment. Implement early childhood education programs and assess children's progress. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall childcare experience. Support the management in leading and mentoring junior staff as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: 23,941.00-25,396.80 per year
