As an Estate Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the estate. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure a welcoming environment for all residents.
Daily Tasks:
Empty waste and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
Maintain spotless front entrances.
Identify and report lighting faults in communal areas.
Check and secure riser cupboards.
Monitor external downpipes and escalate any concerns.
Ensure doors close securely and arrange repairs when needed.
Report leaks, faulty intercoms, and other maintenance issues.
Keep the compactor area clean and organised.
Twice Weekly (Tuesdays & Fridays):
Vacuum communal staircases and landings.
Wash entrance halls, using appropriate safety signage.
Monthly Duties:
Inspect and clean tank rooms, balconies, and communal lighting.
Ensure the compactor area remains in excellent condition.
What You'll Bring:

Clear communicator, confident in reporting issues to the Estate Office and Compliance & H&S teams.
Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Proactive and solution-focused mindset.
Previous experience in estate, facilities, or building management is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
