Role Overview






As the

Events and Partner Marketing Specialist

, you will play a central role in delivering Payara's global events and partner-driven marketing initiatives. You will manage the full lifecycle of internal and external events, oversee co-marketing activities with strategic partners, and ensure strong brand representation across all engagements. Collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Partner teams, you will drive brand awareness, support lead generation, and coordinate with external vendors for smooth execution.

Location: UK & Europe (100% Remote)


Compensation: Rate dependant on local market location and experience




What you will do






Plan, execute, and manage internal events, webinars, industry conferences, ABM event activities, and partner- or channel-led events. Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and measurable ROI through events and partner marketing initiatives. Oversee complete event lifecycle -- pre-event promotion, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up and reporting. Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for event logistics, creative production, and promotion. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Partner teams to align event goals with business objectives. Manage event budgets, reporting, and ROI tracking. Create co-marketing campaigns with strategic partners (e.g., cloud providers, system integrators, resellers). Develop and maintain partner enablement toolkits, collateral, and campaign assets to help partners promote Payara products. Act as an on-site lead for major events, ensuring smooth execution and strong brand representation.



What Will You Bring






Event management experience in tech spaces Ability to travel internationally (7+ global conferences per year) Experience in moderating webinars, virtual conferences etc Good public speaking skills and event moderation abilities Good project management Additional languages are a plus.



Desirable Technical Skills




Proficiency in HubSpot Strong project management and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of the Java/Jakarta EE ecosystem will be an added advantage



Personal Skills & Behaviours




Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across teams.



Essential Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in event planning and management, preferably in the technology industry.
