We are seeking a highly organised and motivated

Exams & Data Administrator

to join our dedicated administration team at Bitterne Park School. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail and an interest in data and systems to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our examinations and the management of school data.

About the Role




As our

Exams & Data Administrator

, you will support the smooth running of internal and external examinations and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of key student data systems. You will work closely with the Exams Officer, Data Manager, and wider administrative team to ensure our processes run efficiently and in line with examination board and school requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Assisting with the planning, preparation, and administration of all school examinations, including timetabling, rooming, onboarding of students and candidate arrangements. Supporting the collection, entry, and maintenance of student assessment and results data. Ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations and internal school procedures. Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding examination schedules, entries, and results. Producing reports and maintaining databases to support analysis and school performance tracking. Upholding data protection and confidentiality standards in all aspects of work. Contributing to the development and improvement of systems, processes, and documentation.
Experience using

Arbor, Applicaa, or similar school information systems

is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

About You

Meticulous, organised, and confident handling data. Able to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines. A clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and IT skills. Experienced in administration, ideally within an education or exams environment. Committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

Requirements



A keen interest in administrative tasks, particularly related to exams and data management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. A commitment to confidentiality and data protection principles. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Previous experience in an administrative role or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
