Job Description

Sannio Restaurant is an Italian Restaurant across from the King's Theatre. We are a small 45 cover restaurant, specialised in pre and post theatre with a quick turnaround quality dishes, cocktails, wines & drinks. All our dishes are home made from our pizza dough, breads, lasagne to our desserts.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED PART TIME WAITING STAFF who can take their own section, carry at least 3 plates at a time, take orders, prepare drinks & cocktails, serve drinks, do the cleaning up duties, stocks, cutlery, etc and welcome customers with a smile, speaking very well English and who can start in the next couple of weeks, usually between 4 to 6 shifts a week with a few 11am to 2pm lunch shifts (weekend lunch shifts longer) and then 4:30pm to 9/10pm ish finishes, 25 to 50 hours a week, with an average of 35 hours through out the year. We are closed most Sundays & Mondays (except when there is a show at the King's Theatre, ie Festive & Panto season, etc).

Our Restaurant Manager will give you the necessary training. Free Staff food & staff drinks as well as working with a friendly environment with early finish as the weekdays the last orders are at 7:30pm and the weekends are at 8:30pm most of the times.

You will be working in most of the theatre times that about 4 to 6 evenings a week over the whole year, some weeks more and some weeks less, depends on the shows at the King's Theatre, including every Fridays & Saturdays. Wages are paid weekly via your bank, we always pay above minimum wage for your age. Also part of the service charge paid into your bank account. There are 6 weeks paid holidays annually. Start rate is at least 10 for 18-20 yrs olds and 12.50 for 21+, plus service charge plus tips.

You must be able to work every weekend and most of the weekdays, especially during busy shows, through out the month of December, including Xmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, etc (excluding Christmas Day As we closed for Xmas Day).
