Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated,experienced and skilled Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. The Dental Nurse will be responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and fostering positive relationships with patients and the team.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring and guiding patients throughout their treatment process. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the practice. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding their treatment. Maintain an organised and tidy clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and sterilised as required. Support administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is mandatory with a minimum of one year post qualification. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management, especially SOE A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
