We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team, manufacturing road trailers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves assembling and fabricating components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Duties

Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Perform welding tasks. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Apply basic maths skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately. Must be able to work on their own initiative. Problem solving skills

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
