one experienced full-time Swimming Instructor

to join our team on a permanent basis for the

Position Details

Start Date:

Monday, 5th January 2026

Location:

Various private pools across Southwest London (See www.swimway.co.uk for full list of locations)*

Contracted Hours:

Minimum

23 guaranteed hours/week

Weekdays: Afternoons*
Saturdays: Double shift*

Pay Rates:

28/hour (weekdays)

30/hour (Saturdays)

Teaching Style:

One-to-one (1:1) or one-to-two (2:1) lessons and Groups of 4:1

Pool Environment:

Warm, high-quality private pools

Contract Type:

Permanent, with 1-year minimum commitment

Requirements

Applicants

must have

:

ASA Level 2 or equivalent internationally recognised qualification Minimum

5 years' experience

teaching swimming Enhanced

DBS check

NRASTC

or

NPLQ

(National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) Instructor insurance (IOF certificate or equivalent) Strong references Willingness to commit for a full year A swimming background is

highly desirable

and specialise in teaching without flotation devices (aside from kickboards). All instructors teach

in the water

using our proprietary teaching methodology.

Training & Assessment

All new hires are required to complete a

compulsory, paid one-week training

programme. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a

trial shift

following a successful interview.
