A popular and high-achieving 11-18 secondary school in Loughborough is seeking a committed Teacher of Geography from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher ready to join a school that invests deeply in its staff and its students.
The Role
You'll teach Geography across KS3-KS4, with structured support to expand into KS5 as your practice develops. Lessons explore both physical and human geography through an enquiry-led, knowledge-rich curriculum. You'll work closely with a subject mentor who has an excellent record of developing ECTs into confident and independent teachers.
The Department
The Geography department is dynamic and collaborative. Teachers share resources, plan fieldwork activities together, and support one another through regular coaching and team teaching. Students take part in local and regional field trips, including urban studies and physical geography investigations.
