The Global Brand Manager JD Super-Premium plays a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of the Jack Daniel's Super-Premium+ portfolio* in one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic divisions of Brown-Forman; Global Travel Retail. The GTR GBM supports both long-term brand-building and executional excellence on a global scale, leveraging the power of GTR to build meaningful brand & business growth. The successful candidate will be a passionate champion of the Jack Daniel's brand and of GTR; inspiring, motivating and engaging internal and external stakeholders alike.

Meaningful Work From Day One
The GTR Global Brand Manager (GTR GBM) supports the GTR Global Marketing Manager (GTR MM) with strategic brand, portfolio & business planning, and leads the delivery of key initiatives across the marketing mix and the breadth of GTR and US Military. The role embraces strong collaboration and productive partnerships with cross-functional GTR teams, the wider GTR Marketing Team, the Global JD Brand Team and external agency stakeholders. Driving for results is a critical part of this role, including the setting of KPIs for the brand and key activities, ongoing performance monitoring/reporting, and the communication of results and case studies back to the wider business.
The working style for this role is 4 days a week from the office and Fridays at home.
What You Can Expect
Strategic Planning & Development
Supports the GTR GMM with JD FOB strategic planning and development of GTR brand & portfolio strategies, to grow and enhance our business across GTR channels.
Leads the execution of the SP+ brand plan working closely with the GTR GMM, the commercial, customer marketing and finance teams, as well as with agency partners.
Contributes to and encourages the setting, measurement and evaluation of rigorous KPIs across all activities, identifying opportunities for further focus and/or course-correction where necessary.
Leads the coordination of goals and activations through all relevant stakeholders to ensure brand and business goals are achieved.
Brand Communications and Creative
Works closely with GTR GMM & the wider JD brand team to support integrated communication strategies & plans, ensuring they are rooted in the brand positioning and are consumer insight driven.
Supports with planning and delivery of key communications initiatives, including, media campaigns, content optimisation and ecommerce.
Creative Toolkit Development: supports GMM with development of appropriate communication platforms and tools relevant to GTR customers and Global Travelers, in line with Global JD brand/campaign guidance and reflecting GTR shopper insights.
Assets & Tools: Leads development and/or adaptation of SP+ creative assets for GTR, ensuring they reflect global brand & comms guidelines as well as relevant consumer/shopper insights
NPD launch planning: Leads planning & execution of impactful launch plans for NPD
Provides feedback and guidance to the GTR Customer Marketing and Commercial teams, to ensure all activities are executed consistently and to a high brand standard.
Portfolio Strategy & Innovation
Supports the GTR GMM in the refinement of the JD SP+ long term portfolio strategy & consumer-led innovation pipeline for GTR, with deep cross functional collaboration: Global JD portfolio team, Marketing Director, GTR Brand & Business Insights / Finance / Commercial / Supply
Leads planning and execution of impactful launches for new SP+ products, both core and limited release.
Financial Acumen/Driving For Results
Becomes familiar with the JD FOB P&L for GTR, understanding the different drivers/levers and collaborating with the GTR GMM, Commercial and Finance/RGM teams to identify, evaluate and action areas for performance improvement.
Champions sustainable value-growth initiatives in line with our long-term strategies.
A&P, PO & invoicing management
What You Bring to the Table
BA in Marketing/other business-related functions.
4+ years' experience in Marketing or related brand/business experience.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to build collaborative and productive partnerships with colleagues and partners.
Strong Project Management: ability to manage projects simultaneously, on-time and on-budget.
Business & financial acumen: able to navigate brand P&Ls and their levers, able to identify challenges and opportunities for business value growth.
A proactive self-starter, able to prioritise, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. Able to be flexible in changing environment, responding positively to new obstacles and challenges.
Experience with managing external agency partners.
