At Donnington Grove Vets, we're proud to care for pets and their owners across our friendly practices in Newbury, Thatcham, and Tadley. You'll mainly be based at our Newbury branch, with the opportunity to work with the wider team across our other sites. Newbury is a lively market town with great transport links to London and Reading, easy access to the A34 and M4, and stunning countryside right on the doorstep in the Berkshire and North Wessex Downs.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team of 17 Vets and 33 Nurses - including Qualified Nurses, Trainees, and Nursing Assistants all backed by our fantastic admin team. We're proud to have colleagues with additional qualifications in Medicine, Surgery, Exotics, Ophthalmology, and Imaging, so there's always someone to learn from and share knowledge with.

Our RCVS Tier 3 Hospital in Newbury, along with our branches in Tadley and Thatcham, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and more. These resources enable our team to provide comprehensive, high-quality care across a wide range of cases.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week over 4 days. Participation in the OOH rota, including weekday evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, is shared fairly among the team.

Within our large team of experienced Vets, we have successfully supported and trained a number of graduates over the years, helping them develop their confidence and clinical skills in a supportive environment.
