Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Drive a van to deliver products to customers in a timely manner. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured for transport. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with the warehouse team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is advantageous. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling is essential. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
