Job Introduction

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Headteacher who is both nurturing and driven, with a proven track record of leading and improving curriculum. The successful candidate will be a personable and approachable leader, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including the children, parents, staff and the wider community.


We have recently had a successful Ofsted inspection, receiving a 'Good' rating in each of the outcomes. The report highlighted that our children feel safe and happy at this highly inclusive school and is ambitious for all.


Our new Headteacher will act with clarity of thought, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and economic insight. They will be decisive and resourceful, particularly in dynamic or challenging situations. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous school improvement, by always seeking innovative and evidence-based ways to enhance outcomes for all children is essential.


The ideal candidate will build strong, positive relationships across the school community, establishing trust and collaboration.


A natural rapport with children and a visible presence around the school is essential, as will the courage to challenge and think creatively about the education provision.
