Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, preparing construction phase documentation and promoting a culture of safety within the organisations we manage. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including root cause analysis, and present findings to management. Prepare construction phase documentation, RAMS, COSHH documents etc Collaborate with various clients to promote safety awareness and encourage safe work practices. Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation. Stay updated on changes in health and safety legislation and best practices.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a safety-related role within the construction environment Strong skills in report writing with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Knowledge of first aid procedures and certification is highly desirable. Experience in conducting root cause analysis for incidents or near misses. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowlede of the CDM Regulations and role of the principal designer is desireable A relevant qualification in construction health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH Construction, NVQ)
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 175.00-200.00 per day
