Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients' conditions Assist with light domestic duties to ensure a clean and safe environment Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery Support clients with activities such as meal preparation and light household tasks Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits or outings Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, organised, and attentive to detail
